Being able to draw extra cards is always a huge benefit in Magic, and being able to spread out your damage allows you to target whichever opponent is least able to block you

This is a five-mana Explosive Vegetation with a bonus like Peregrination, so it's nice, but folks are just going to usually tend towards the Vegetation rather than this, which is why it hits my 40-spot overall and then also why it should be pretty cheap on the secondary market moving forward

This is my top scoring Commander eligible dork in this set

Not so with 2015, but thats getting ahead of myself

a lot of them seem to focus on impacting creatures, and again, the deck just doesn't really care about that
