Pretty much every draft deck uses Mutagen tokens in some fashion, sacrificing them to add a +1/+1 counter to a creature of the players choice
Instead of those lands dying if hit by removal, they will come back to play tapped
Since only one spell per turn is castable, counters are nasty, and thus an uncounterable draw win con here is powerful there and your dorks tend to be nasty size so you can go really big, really quickly
To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you're paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions (such as that of Swampsnare Trap)
Generally, this will be much less efficient, but is completely viable if you wish to build your deck in this direction
