If we can play a one-drop on Turn 1, into Cryptolith Rite on Turn 2, into two more creatures (with our four mana, thanks to our one-drop being a Birds of Paradise) on Turn 3, we should be set to combo off and win the game on Turn 4, which means Paradox Rites is fast enough to compete in our crazy Turn 4 Emrakul, the Promised End Standard
