Exceptionnelle Rolex King Midas/Cellini en or jaune, réf. 9630, de 1963 – La 1ère MIDAS prix-sur-demande on which depth is expressedIn 1962, Rolex launched the King Midas, designed by Grald Genta well before the Royal Oak and the Nautilus. Hand sculpted from a solid block of 18 carat gold, its asymmetrical pentagonal case is inspired by the Parthenon in Athens, while the crown at 9 oclock evokes the sun atop Mount Olympus. The first numbered and limited series in Rolexs history, ref. 9630 was produced in fewer than 800 pieces between 1962 and 1972. Our example is number 058 making
