The stone is a prasiolite, also known as green amethyst. The photos don't do the subtle color justice. The stone is 11mm wide and the top of the ring is 23mm wide. The band is 1. 5mm wide at the top and tapers to 3mm at the bottom. This gives the stone a pleasing balance. Size European 15 (55), US 6 3 4, UK N
