Nicely restored by Walt Carpenter in 1980 and not fished since. The reel seat hardware doesn't have his die stamp and there's nothing scripted on the rod, but it's definitely a Halstead. Very powerful rod with a medium fast action. I'd recommend a DT5 line. The rod exhibits Halstead's standard 2x2 node
