Kapusta 550PT Reel 5 1/2" 9'9" The reel seat hardware doesn't

The reel seat hardware doesn't have his die stamp and there's nothing scripted on the rod

The rod is in excellent condition with the only issue being some "alligatoring" of the varnish in places

with the only sign of use I could find being one little scuff on the rim

Label proposes a DT7 line weight (HCH)

This consignor was a personal friend of Ernie Schwiebert as they both lived in Princeton

Kapusta 550PT Reel 5 1/2" 9'9" The reel seat hardware doesn'tA nice Kapusta saltwater fly reel, set up for LHW. 5 1 2" in diameter with a 1" spool width. Weighs 14 ounces. Large arbor design with porting on the outer part of the spool and the drum. Orange gold anodized color throughout. Excellent used condition with some very minor wear to the rim and a slight bit of corrosion at the base of the counterbalance and handle. The foot also has some mounting marks, but the reel is very clean overall. Nice smooth
