Petra 'Colle al Fico' syrah 2020 White but very glad that heWhile unusual, straight Syrah from Tuscany is certainly not unheard of. The style is somewhere between peppery northern Rhne and fleshy Aussie Shiraz. This probably leans a touch more towards its Euro neighbour over the Alps, but there's a ripeness to it that shows the Tuscan sun. Moderate tannins provide a good frame. Will benefit from half an hour or so in a decanter before drinking.
