Hand hammered, this fabulous covered tureen is an early example of the CC Hermann silversmithy (1949 1992). Displaying a serene form and generous size, it is both functional and decorative, perfect for an understated table setting. Very good condition, with a monogram on the underside noted. Also noted, the handles are of an unknown material, possibly bone, or Hippo tooth.
