The step ferrules have been oxidized to the correct "pewter" color these rods were known for

with a round-tip wooden toothpick (it comes out like chalk) and a cotton swab/Q-tip can finish the clean-up/polish

The reel packs into the original neoprene Hardy pouch and box with paperwork

Near mint condition with just a couple of tiny traces of use here and there, it could not have been fished much. The reel has some backing still loaded on it and weighs 6. 4 ounces on my scale. Designed to hold up to a DT7+50, or DT6+70. Comes with navy and cream Hardy zippered case and the original Hardy box.
