The reel has a strong click and fully functional adjustable pin-in detent drag under the handle (this feature was replaced with the seven detent arrowhead pointer on the front and then the back plate)

The inner dimensions of each drawer are 11" wide by 7 3/8" deep and inner height of 1/2"

The Leonard step ferrules are oxidized and the tips are differentiated with one and two dots after the serial number
