1997 Squier by Fender Vista Series Venus | Surf Green, Seymour Duncan JB w/ S-1 Switch Whole Guitar Neck PlateHere's an absolutely fantastic sounding and playing 1997 Squier Vista Series Venus. This guitar came in with some active electronics, an EMG 81 and it just didn't feel right. The original pickguard was carved up to accommodate the pickup swap so I fabricated a new one and threw in JB and it sounds again absolutely fantastic. To add a little versatility a Fender S 1 Switch was installed to split the JB AND flip the phase of the neck pickup to give 5
