Full length smooth brass foot. Ebonite handle spins freely. The nickel silver rim tension screw was recently replaced by Bill Archuleta and works perfectly. Arch also re bushed the reel and the result is a super tight mechanical reel with absolutely zero wobble or end play. No cracks or corrosion. No line burns. A great user reel for a great price!
