Orvis Madison Impregnated Rod 8'6" 2/1 #9 10' 4to - over 9¾" -An Orvis Madison bamboo fly rod 8'6", 2 piece, 1 tip, and built for a #9 line. Serial #67808, built in 1972. The one tip is 1 3 4" short. Aside from the short tip the rod is in good used condition with normal cosmetic wear but nothing substantial that I could find. Powerful medium action. The rod is straight and the ferrule seats fully. Medium color impregnated cane done in a three up node pattern. Wrapped dark red throughout with a carbide stripper
