Hochstein, David - Large Photograph Signed 1912 [JOURNAL] The Turn of the ScrewAmerican violinist (1892 1918), a prodigious talent who died at age 26 in WWI, yet left some recordings. After his successful debut at Carnegie Hall in 1915, Hochstein had a short but very successful career on tour. Very rare autograph, large photo also signed by photographer on the mat (probably Isidore York, New York), dated by Hochstein in Rochester, 1912, with a short sentiment.
