Set of Antique ⅛" Engraver's Letter Punches cast metal Black brushed metal factory lampc. 1920s; George T. Schmidt Inc. Chicago Set of A Z steel engraver's punches. This piece includes " steel punches tipped with raised letters on the tips. Items such as these were used in the early days before laser engraving and were instrumental in providing serial numbers for everything from firearms to appliances. Exhibits minor signs of wear including some rust. All letters are accounted for, but some have evidence of more use than others. Full
