this reel actually has a separate front and back plate and the handle arm is held in place with the knurled n/s "Bradley" screw that attaches to the spool

It was fun to see this  Aroner 7' 3/2 #5 "Fishing Creek" model from the consignor

A very rare reel in this size

for some reason the oxidation on the female did not take very well and it has been varnished over

AL Walker TR4 Fly Reel 8 Weight despite obviously different river conditionsA very nice AL Walker TR 4 fly reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for RHW. The spool width is 15 16" and the reel weighs 5. 8 oz. Used excellent condition with mounting marks on the foot, some rim rash and rubbing along the aluminum rims and the underside of the foot crossbar, and some very minor marks to the plates. The reel has been fished but well cared for. Adjustable drag. The reel comes in the original reel bag and leather zippered case.
