Wegner is crafted with great attention to each detail in a simple and functional design. This 1962 design demonstrates the influence American Shaker furniture principles and craftsmanship had on Wegners work. The legs of the CH36 taper off slightly both towards the floor and, in the case of the rear legs, also towards the top, creating an elegant appearance. The backrest is significantly more curved at the top than at
