In her works Marzik responds to the extreme seasonal changes and their effects on the environment in Far North Queensland. Best known for her abstract and highly textutured surfaces, Marziks unique pictorial visions reflect quintessence of the Australian environment. Prolonged periods of engagement with natural areas of Far North Queensland and a sustained observation of
