Incorporating selected Indochinese species adds a new color pallette for Nepenthes hybridization

This plant is a climber and needs to be given a pole to grow vertically

‘Frydek’ is a cultivar of Alocasia micholitziana which is famous for its iridescent leaves that become more velvety as they mature

it doesn’t seem absolutely necessarily as we have seen beautiful specimens cultivated in completely organic media (such as sphagnum moss or coco husk)

These plants were imported from South American and we haven't grown them to a large enough size to confirm conformity with the species description

We've found it to be a fast grower that prefers to scramble along the pot surface (like gloriosum) as opposed to climb (like verrucosum).
