Firstly, liquors are aged for at least 4 years before being blended into the base rums. Base rums are distilled from cane sugar and ages for 3, 7 or 25 years. This new 15 year old rum is further barrel aged, rounding out the profile. Dark amber in appearance with aged, Santisima 15 Year Old has woody notes, toasty nuances and dried fruit aromas.
