The emerging leaves have red hues and the pitchers have varying colors and spots. We expect them to develop strong waists and domed lids like clipeata as they mature. Note that Marpesa is a grex of maxima x northiana originally from Leilani Nepenthes nursery. We're unsure if there was some mixed pollination for our
