She is the one we go to for the orecchiette (handmade little ears of pasta), pasta al forno, parmigiana, patate, cozze e riso key Barese dishes. Every summer she would teach my brother, sisters and me to make the orecchiette. We would sit outside in the old cobbled, narrow street, with all the other mammas,
