British Lee-Enfield No. 9 Mk.1 Bayonet survival Whether for displayAll steel bayonet (socket and blade forged separately), overall length 10. 04in (255 mm). Socket form: configuration based on that for the No 4 series, the principal difference being the enlarged underside of the fore end which merges with a heavy flat sided shoulder. The base of the blade is welded into the sector shaped shoulder. Blade form: identical to that for the No 5 series slim, single edged with double edged bowie style clip point, fullered.
