I couldn't find a hallmark on the piece. It tests as minimum 800 silver purity which was standard for continental Europe at the time of production but as there is no hallmark it is being sold as silver colored metal. The locket is very shiny but still retains a lovely patina. It features a beautifully etched floral design with a starburst frame on the front; The back has a
