Caol Ila 1998 - Fèis Ìle 2015 Whisky 70cl 57.3% Bottling Series_Easter Elchies Black Classic Craigellachie meaty Speyside characterThis Caol Ila was distilled in 1998 and matured in American oak, Moscatel casks and finally old Sherry puncheons, the 2015 Fis le Caol Ila bottling was bottled at a natural cask strength of 57. 3% abv. Nose: Warming citrus, star anise, Malmsey and sweet peat. Palate: Great entry, earthy and smoky, becoming much more vinous. Finish: Pepper, red fruit and dark spice.
