AV-590 Electronic COM Switch | 12–15 VDC, 118–137 MHz 218BGPX engine maintenance and operationThe AV 590 electronic COM switch allows two communications radios to share the same communications antenna. In receive mode, the AV 590 acts as a splitter providing signal to both radios; in transmit mode, a control signal is sent from the audio panel to the AV 590 to switch the AV 590 to the selected radio therefore isolating the remaining radio from the AV 590 electric switch. When the transmission is complete, the control signal is removed and the
