An elegant car crawls up its side, panting under a sepia toned sun, the motels rooms strangely void. In his practice, Steve Rosendale sifts through hundreds of film stills, searching for an evocation. Here, in the golden hour of yesteryear, he finds just that. Rosendales work draws upon the collective memories of popular culture. He sets up
