BRITISH EAST AFRICA 1901 SG65, 67 Cover ½a green postcard uprated and registered to Germany digital-edition Written up on page1901 (3 JL) registered a green postcard, used from Mombasa to Germany, uprated to 3a rate (1a postage + 2a registration) by 1896 1901 a yellow green and 2a chocolate, tied by individual fine to very fine strikes of Mombasa cds. The face with fine "R MOMBASA" boxed registration H S and boxed "PIROSCAFI ESTERI" Italian paquebot H S. Backstamped at Naples (20 7) and Buchholz (23 7). Philatelic (no message) but a most attractive and scarce usage.
