Antique French Dripping Pan Wrought Iron Copper Fireplace Roasting Tray See the Tap section ofThis antique dripping pan is a rare and highly decorative piece of traditional kitchenalia. Bought from a traditional French brocante market, this is made from wrought iron and copper and is tin lined. This was originally filled with potatoes or vegetables and was placed beneath a spit roast in front of the fire. It was designed to catch the juices and fat from the meat so the vegetables would be basted in these whilst the meat was cooking. Key
