Jean Schwarz – Erda / Suite N [LP] Industrial / Power Electronics an act of instantaneous composition

an act of instantaneous composition

chiselled inside with a thousand details

These are rich song forms that stand in contrast to the stripped down steel in her duo with Peter Brotzmann

and other forest-droners should definitely check her out

Edited together in Lambkin's distinctive style of lo-fi domestic tape collage

Jean Schwarz – Erda / Suite N [LP] Industrial / Power Electronics an act of instantaneous composition"'Jean Schwarz is an idiosyncratic figure in the world of electroacoustic music. With a dual background in jazz and ethnomusicology, he has crossed times and genres with an unwavering singularity, infusing improvisation, ballets or cinema with the art of acousmatics. 'Erda' or 'Suite N', each in their own way, demonstrate Schwarz's unique propensity for exploring sound, its cross fertilisations and its evocative power.' Franois Bonnet, Paris, 2015
