Cognac 'Cadenhead' 35 years old 54.2% Irish situated right on the RiverThis expression from the Cadenhead's 'malternatives' range is a single cask Cognac from the Charpentier Distillery, 'Petite Champagne' region. It has been bottled at cask strength, with only 270 bottles disgorged. The nose features sandlewood, fresh apples, along with a subtle spiciness. On the palate we find chocolate, nutmeg, and raisin. The finish is long and rich, with honeycomb, cloves, and pear.
