Distilled in 1979 and bottled in October 2000 under Diagio's Rare Malt Selection. The Rare Malts Selection was created in 1995, aimed initially at the duty free market. However the range became available to specialist whisky retailers. This particular dram is all the more precious for having come from a distillery closed in 1985.
