The Political Struwwelpeter... Illustrated by F. Carruthers Gould Nixon Small folio (295 mm)London: Grant Richards, 1899. Hardback. Publisher's original paper covered illustrated boards with red cloth spine. 24 pages of charming and amusing politicised skits based on the exploits of Struwwelpeter. Boards slightly rubbed, esp. at corners. Contents unusually clean and bright with no foxing, dirty finger marks or childish scrawlings (as is often the case with this title). An about VG copy and by no means faultless.
