GB 1876 SG156var Post Office Circular announcing the new 8d stamp perfectly centred example1876 Post Office Circular. Four pages from the Monday, Sept. 4th 1876 edition, which includes various Postal information including an announcement for the 'New Postage Stamps value 8d' to be issued on '11th instant' 'for the convenience of persons corresponding with India and Australia via Brindisi'. Some edge fraying from the central binding, but overall very clean and fresh. A very interesting and scarce document. P223010270
